WHY GODRIC?! WHY?!!

Oh god True Blood is my heroin these days.

This week's episode was terribly sad at the end that my eyes actually watered and I got emotional. I won't spoil it but if you follow the show you should know.

I'm not one to write fanfiction though I am guilty of reading it. However, this show has made me want to write Godric/Eric fanfiction so bad it's not even funny. Well, it is a little. It's so hard not to want to slash these too. They are vampires and Godric is Eric's maker and just the way they interacted, it was beyond slashible. I love it.

True Blood leaves Twilight in a pool of it's own sparkly blood. I recommend it to anyone if you have HBO. There is always the renting it from Blockbuster option as well.

Jefferson on Banks, Quote

" I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies . . . If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] . . . will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered . . . The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." -- Thomas Jefferson -- The Debate Over The Re Charter Of The Bank Bill, (1809)

from an email my father sent me.

Drabble and Vampire Fiction

So wow. I have had a busy day and I kind of wanted to at least post everyday. So here's one now. Say hello to it! It likes muffins.

I would like to thank the wonderful comments I got for my previous entry. I enjoyed reading them. Freaksaphhic actually offered some good ideas for topics and such, that I will most likely go into in later entries. Thanks so much!

In slash news, watching so much True Blood has rekindled my need to write my very own vamp fic. I started it last night and though I haven't got very far yet I have some good ideas for the story. I hope it might turn out well. It is of course nothing like True Blood, not really, other than of course involving a vampire. I'll let you know how that goes and be sure to give a link if I decide to publish it on Fictionpress.

A big hooray for having some followers too, but of course I know they are from Sweet Revolution Awards and FP. They are awesome never the less. I love you all!

That's it for today. I know nothing special, but hopefully tomorrow that will change. Stay tuned!

The Start of Something Interesting

Hello potential readers that don't exist quite yet, call me Ceejay.

I started this blog because for one I have always wanted to start one and also because I wanted to release all the jumbled thoughts floating around in my odd little head.

I am twenty two years old and attending a local state college. I am trying desperately to get my AA so I might pursue creative writing as a major. I'm not the most studious of people but I've been doing my best. I live in Florida, which can be great and terrible all at the same time. I don't think my gender really matters but it's probably not too hard to guess. I live with my dad and my sister for now since it's easier and because not too long ago I got laid off and have yet to find a replacement. It's tough out there as most of you may know. I'm a Pisces if that explains anything about me. I'm also Wiccan and a complete Otaku. Google it. Only I'm not as crazy as some of those nerdy anime freaks.

So what's slash? Just take a look at the description just under the title of this blog. It's often associated with fan fiction, but I have never written a fan fiction in my entire life. I've read some but that's as far as I've gone. I write original slash fiction and have been for quite some time. I've always been good in English and an avid reader. I even got into the post by post role-playing when I was about thirteen, however it wasn't til my ex step-sister showed my fictionpress.com that I discovered what I really wanted to do with my life. Well, at first it was just for fun but slowly it became more than that. I actually was majoring in Art before I changed it to creative writing.

Eventually not too long after joining fictionpress.com and doing some writing (non-slash) I discovered the slash male/male world. I found it fascinating and much more entertaining than any other hetero romance stories. I can't really describe what it is I love about it. Everything? I was in high school and started writing stories with gay themes. It started to show up in my role-playing as well and soon I could have a character that wasn't male and gay. I guess I got obsessed, but even now I don't really care. It's amusing how now when I'm out and about and I'll see two males together or some cute guy it's always my first reaction to think up gay stories for them, to use them as characters in my head. I'll either do that or wish to jump them myself.

Okay, the jig is up, I'm a straight female college student with a thing for writing about gay males in various situations. We all have our vices, but I think mine is more fun than any others.

So this blog will be my thoughts on topics in relation to Slash writing to my struggles in a not so gay life and whatever else I can think up that could be potentially pointless. Expect the unexpected or the very expected. This should be an interesting little venture.
